My Fellow Artist Pablo Cavides presented his latest work at the Scope Art Fair NYC 2018. Another milestone on his career. I came to see his exhibition and film a follow up story to our film On The Map. Our film was presented at the 3rd annual Inwood Film Festival.

Inspired by the phenomenon of immigration and its impact on the development of the United States. I chose Andy Warhol and his powerful influence on the Pop art movement in America and the world pop culture in general as the topic of my animation.

Caviedes´s film gradually and surprisingly reveals in stages the magical appearance and careful placement of many Amerindian jigsaw puzzle pieces, which ultimately encapsulate, define, and disclose his self-portrait, personifying as the symbolic facial embodiment or a Neo-Platonic ¨one face¨ that is representative of all immigrants.
